Stress is a commonplace for me. I get a lot on my plate, a lot on my mind, maybe I don't take care of things right away, I let it all pile up, and all of a sudden I feel overwhelmed. I know I put myself in these situations because of the fact that I don't take care of things right away. I suffer from procrastination too.
Let's see, right now on my "things to do" list: talk to a home insurance company, sign up for the insurance, let the lender know that is done, talk to the home inspector for a document that may end up saving money if he can provide it, pray the realtors and lenders and everyone involved can come up with a closing date for the house, get quotes from moving companies, pack up things, let the landlords know we're moving (they already know but we have to let them know when we have a closing date on the house), pick up as much overtime at work as possible. I know I'm leaving things out, I guess those are the main things and the things I have to do in like 7 hours. On top of finding time to cook and go to work. Though I think we have enough leftovers in the fridge that maybe I won't have to cook tomorrow. I do feel bad sometimes for not being that "perfect" wife that cooks meals for her husband seven days a week.
Anywho for the stress, I like to eat junk food and watch funny things. Probably not a great combination, but who knows, maybe I'm burning off all those calories from the laughter. One of the best shows ever made is called Just For Laughs. It's a bunch of harmless pranks, that frankly I'm impressed they were able to pull a lot of them off. You can see some of them on this youtube vid. They hardly talk on the show. I kind of think that's part of what makes the show so unique. Because of the fact that they don't need to say a lot, this show has been a hit in a lot of different countries, which is kind of neat. Definitely something to check out if you've had a hard day or need a laugh. It's not like some shows that thrive on laughter from people getting hurt, which is probably the main reason I like it.
Ben found this picture, which is extremely cute and appropriate since we've been playing a lot of Plants vs Zombies.
