NYC trip

Got to go to NYC for the first time ever!! The first part of the week started out as a work trip to New Jersey, and the last part of the week ended with meeting Tina in NYC and staying through the weekend. Little did we know that that weekend would be the first weekend where the news names a snowstorm.

They named it Nemo.

Yep, we were lucky enough to be in NYC on the one weekend where they got about a foot of snow. To listen to the news on that Thursday and Friday before the storm, you would have thought the world was ending. We were so confused, we thought the northern states were much more prepared to handle snowstorms. Of course, we're visitors there, we don't want to stay inside! We want to see the city! And oh boy, was it cold! It was definitely a fun experience but I doubt I'd ever want to go back in February.

limo ride to dinner! The company I was in NJ with treated us to dinner one night and limo ride to get there! The lights inside were so pretty!
Statue of Liberty from far away

soooo much pretty architecture in New York!

Number One.... whatever that means. Just thought it was funny

creepy church

Grand Central Station

inside Grand Central Station

can you tell from all the lights that we're entering Times Square??

I like how this turned out when you can tell from the other pictures that it was no where near this dark. This is in the middle of Times Square, so it's super bright right here!

the New Year's Eve ball is behind that 2013!

NY Public Library....so pretty!!

Grand Central Station

at Rockefeller Center

famous skating rink at Rockefeller Center. No one was on it, not really sure why. This was on Thursday, 2 days before the snowstorm.

creepy picture at Central Park (taken Thursday before all the snow)

lobby at Empire State building

the hotel in NJ that I stayed at for work...looked like a castle!

the wolves outside my hotel room. My first night there I thought they were real wolves. After intense staring, I realized they were only cutouts. The people at the hotel really got me!

at the Mansfield Hotel in NYC....awesome hotel on a quiet street and yet still so close to everything!! Yes, it's small, but why do you need anything bigger? You shouldn't be in your hotel room the whole time when you're visiting somewhere like NYC!

Doors to the bathroom....interesting

our beautiful view in the Mansfield Hotel. It's alright, we weren't there to stare outside the hotel window.

I did like those trees at the top of the building next door.
Toys R Us on Times Square.....yes that's a ferris wheel inside of the Toys R Us!

Times Square

the Jekyll and Hyde Club Restaurant is the one with the skull on top....awesome restaurant, would definitely go back!

Jekyll and Hyde Club Restaurant & Bar had a funny bus down the street
at the Ninja Restaurant in Chelsea

Dragon Roll! So pretty!

Ninja Star dessert
Chocolate Rose dessert....it's a lie, the rose isn't chocolate, it's real!

on Broadway

The dinner bell is ringing! To be continued.....
