Then I went to California! Did I ever tell you about that trip? Well it was amazing! Was definitely a little skeptical that I would even like it, but yep, can't wait to go back!
Skip ahead a few weeks and my parents came to visit. They finally got to see our new house, yay!
Then worked like crazy because yay overtime! Ok, not really yay, but I figure while it's offered and while I can, might as well take it. Plus, any little thing I can do to hopefully get my foot in the door when a position opens up on dayshift...
Now, in the timeline, it's February. EVERYONE'S birthday is in February! We've got birthdays from the 1st all the way to the 28th! Let's see Hallmark, we've got Feb 1, 6, 14, 16 (3 on the 16th!!), 26, 27, & 28. I feel like I'm leaving a couple people's out? Maybe on the 25th?
So, birthday parties and work work work. Ben has now introduced me to a game called Banished, which is my new favorite game of all time. I just can't get enough of it and so very impressed that it was made by 1 guy!
Work has been sooooo stressful lately, like to the point of tears stressful. And my boss says "not hiring any new people until the summer". Because in the state of Florida, this is our busy season, when everyone who hates snow and cold come down here to be warm. In the summer, it supposedly slows down because everyone who came down for the winter goes back north.
Anywho, that's been my life in a nutshell. Ready for another vacation, haha.
