Then we went to visit my folks in the cold land. It warmed up for us since we're from the hot land; it warmed up by the end of the trip to a whopping 65 degrees, which really is pretty unusual for the middle of December. Anyway the day that we left to come back to the hot land, it got all rainy up in the cold land and the very next day was back in the 30s. Thank you so much Cold Land for warming up while we were there!
Had a wonderful week off of work to visit with family and recharge my batteries.
Got to see a man about a horse.
Got to see a beautiful sunrise on the day we were driving back to the Hot Land. {no photoshop}
Yes, that's a sunrise. It had just stormed a lot the night before.
Not much else happened since then, just trying to get back in the groove of life. Been working since the trip, and have worked on every shift since Christmas. My typical shift is 2nd, usually 2p-10:30 or 3p-11:30, but lately I've added on the 9:30pm-7am and the 5:30am-2pm. Fun times. Actually that weekend after Christmas was probably the worst weekend I have ever worked, and it came not only with the stress of it being so busy but also the emotional tolls of losing a patient. I may not have direct patient contact, but I am still working on saving their lives in an indirect way.
Anywho, enough of that. In one week, I will be in a faraway land, a place I've never been.
TINA AND I ARE GOING TO CALIFORNIA!!!!
yep, that's right, caps lock, bold, italics, underlined, the works! This is serious business! haha. So super excited about our trip. Many many pictures to come....
